Portative Organ (Organetto)
IInstruments dedicated to performers of medieval music, female vocal ensembles and medieval instruments, scholae cantorum ensembles as an accompanying instrument in historical performance of Gregorian chant, all music schools, choral schools, music academies, as equipment for medieval instruments, and vocalists, accordionists and performers of ethnic music.
The free inspiration for the offered portatives are instruments found in paintings of the entire Middle Ages and Leonardo da Vinci’s organo di carta. The proposed instruments use technical solutions based on the thought of later masters, taken from 16th and 17th century museum objects and constructed on the basis of knowledge included by the French monk Dom Bedos in his masterpiece L’art du facteur d’orgues.
The basic offer includes two models: Tullus, with a soprano scale and 26 tones (h-c”’), open wooden pipes, a melodious and loud sound, perfect for solo playing, and the Opiter, a fourth lower, alto, with 24 tones (g, a – g”), equipped with covered wooden pipes, with a warm, strong sound making it an excellent accompanying instrument for vocalists. Portative Święch with wooden pipes is distinguished by its low weight and ease of transport. A specially developed air system makes it almost effortless to achieve the desired volume from quiet and gentle to strong and sharp. The precise and reliable mechanism allows for the fastest and most complicated ornaments and repetitions. Each portative is equipped with one wedge bellows skinned with the highest quality German organ leather ensuring trouble-free operation for many, many years. The five-layer varnished body of the instrument provides good resistance to mechanical damage, emphasizing the natural beauty of the wood. The compact design and skillfully selected decorations make the Święch portatives easy to clean from settling dust if they are left uncovered for a long time, for example in the rehearsal room between music collections, on a chest of drawers in the living room, in the church choir, or in the presbytery. Both models offered can be used both on a table and on the knee. The built instrument is provided with a standard 2-year warranty, with the possibility of extension to 60 months. It is also possible to configure a transport and shipping box for each portative. The product is delivered in person (Poland), and by mail (Europe, USA, Australia, Asia).
